Anyone fly fishing? I think I may give it a whirl... would it be possible to use both a fly/spinning, as long as one per obviously? I only have one fly rod and would rather not re-tie 100 times.

Say a fly fisherman wins a PFTS, aside from bragging rights, would that person be entitled to more or better prizes? Not that I am in anyway confident, I plan to win and expect to skunk.

A "White hair jig with a Gulp Shrimp" is two lures. Think about it, if you lose the gulp to a pinfish you still have the white hair jig. If someone uses a gulp shrimp on a jig head or weedless hook if they lose the gulp shrimp all they have left is a jig head, tough to fish with that. Sorry to ruin your plans but you still have a time to readjust.

Todd wrote:You can bring two of the same lures if you would like. You can also use "gulp" type baits in this tournament, but you can only bring one.
For this event, The Dynamic Duo, yes. But remember the rules.

Format: In this event you will be allowed to bring two rods, only two. You will be allowed to bring two lures, only two. A jighead with a soft plastic is one lure, a bag of 8 soft plastics is 8 lures. There can be no other lures on/in your kayak. If found with more than two lures/two rods you will be disqualifed. You can bring extra leader material but the lb. strength test of that leader must remain the same as when you launched.
