Another foggy day with ZeroSix

Post by Heywood »

I met up with Joe aka ZeroSix this morning in hopes of getting on some redfish. The bite was off the chain, just after the tide turned and started coming back in. Unfortuantely the wind picked up at the same time, but it didnt slow the bite down.

Using a Z-Mann curly tail jig, Joe was hammering the reds.

Not sure why these came out so bright.

I got in on the action, Exude Gold Dart.

Biggest of the day, a nice 30" redfish.

Joe, it was a blast. Lets do it again when its not so damn windy.

Very nice. I have some Exude Gold Darts that I need to learn how to rig up properly and get on some fish soon.

Funny - he was coming in as I was going out. A separate thread. Weather kinda got real around 3:30-4pm. (You fish when you can.) Still dialing in on 'em - at least I have the area code now.

I would like to mention that I did my part - keeping the rats out of the way so Bill and Joe could get into the better fish... :-)

Its good to see you over here Greg. I believe in karma, and it sure paid off for you today. Those were some really nice reds you caught

Just found these posts.... attests to my short-bus web ability. Awesome fishing day! As I look at the pictures and heal my wounds from my kayak falling 8' from the ceiling and hitting me in the head the night before... I would gladly take that trauma again for another morning like that!

Good times!

Joe

Cute rats. Love this time of year. Why no pictures of the big reds?
