Yeah, what a forecast. I woke early to conquer, then it started raining. So I cooked some breakfast and man it looked good outside. Finally I said :thebirdman: and went for it

Cancelled all our plans to go fishing Saturday night based on the weather report. Didint get a single drip. I wish I was a weather man. No responsibility, whatsoever.

If you all were not so soft and had gone out despite the forecast you would have been rewarded. :thumbright:

Had nothing to do with being soft. With the nasty weather forecast, I found something else to do. My fishing buddy and I had an impromptu consultation at Sam's late afternoon on Saturday and both agreed, in the honey bun and danish aisle, to pass on fishing due entirely to the high winds, driving rain and bolts of lightning shooting from the sky forecast.

Those were in another aisle (although you do have to search damn hard at Sam's to find them)

Had for dinner. Past tense.

I caught my own damn redfish for dinner.

Despite the non-stop, ever present, always in my face, incessant, back breaking, shoulder straining, kayak drifting, fishing line in the mangroves blowing wind.

Found a New/Old place I used to fish YEARS ago on Monday. Great spot for those North winds and ended up with a 23 inch Trout for Din-Din. Hit a couple of Snook as well and one was in the slot fer sure.. Oh well, the trout was quite Tastee! I think it might be within reach of the next tourney boundries as well..
