Any owners of a new Native Ultimate 14?

If you use one that is listed, please add a review. If a kayak or canoe that you would like to give a review of is not listed, please add it. This is also where you can show off your boat.

Any owners of a new Native Ultimate 14?

Post by Rik »

I'm looking for someone to give me a good pictorial on the side drain slot.
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

Thank you. I saw it on Manning's new Ultimate 14 and want to to the same to my older model. Nice solution to the problem since their drain plugs are useless.

Just above that picture it says "When you turn the kayak on its side every thing come out sand and small debris included." It may all come out (or not) but it does not happen quickly and you have to hold the kayak up on it's side so that slot is exactly at the bottom. I use it then I use a sponge to get the rest out.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

I have a brand new Native Ultimate 14.5 and the drain works perfectly.
