Chuck got beat by a girl!
Congrats to all the winners.
We had a great time this weekend. We had a game plan Friday that did not pan out during pre-fishing so we opted to launch at a place we have never fished before. It was a step back to basics as we knew nothing of the terrain. We worked some spoil islands which produced a 19" trout for me and a 23" trout for Sharon. We also caught flounder, jacks, bluefish and ladyfish. We got to a point where we decided to round the corner and move to the back side of the islands and found a trough and moving mullet. I found an intersection where the trough split. A few casts into the "V" and I found a 17" redfish. I knew we were in the right area so I started watching the mullet movement and followed them around the point of a mangrove island and found they were stacking up in a hole. First cast in the hole laded another 17" red. Sharon joined me and tied into a 27" red that made her work. A couple casts later I got a 23" red and then it was time to think Snook. We fished our way back to the launch with no luck on the snook. We even tried a last ditch effort by launching a second time to fish some docks. We just couldn't find any snook. In hind sight, I think we should have spent more time fishing the area we started out at instead of moving.
It was good having a west coast/P-F.com presence. Special thanks to Heywood for his kayak delivery services. And if you're ever in Ft. Pierce, stop in at Sharkys (an unofficial eatery for P-F.com ) for lunch.
I'll post some pictures later.
Congrats to all the winners.

No problem Mark, I would have hated myself if something would have happened to you guys.
Mention P-F.com at Sharkys and get a 10% discount on your meal. Or asked to leave

I had a great time there. Congrats to the winners from here. I ended up with a 20" red and I caught snook and trout but they were to small to measure. I cant believe the luck Ken Taylor has, I had to drag his kayak he won in the raffle back with us. 2 Years in a row he came home with a kayak from there. It was great meeting you guys and I look forward to fishing with ya'll again sometime.
