I use 10# Power Pro on my stradic 2500 and my okuma av20. When I first started using it, I had problems with knots but I don't seem to have any problems with it at all now. I will just add that some reels will cause knots in the power as they're just not designed for braids so if you're having a LOT of problems with knots and you've been using the braid for a while, try it on another reel. Also, always remember to flip your bail manually, this helps with knots as well.

20# on two Okuma's (at the time PP didn't have 15# or 10#, the stuff is that old and still going) and 15# Tuff Line on a Cabela's Salt Striker (going on two years - still smooth and basically no maintenance - great reel for the price)
I'm not a complete idiot -- Some parts are missing.
Have always used 10lb test - better casting distance for clear water and spooky fish. Can pack more on a spool for long runs in open water. Casts better in a head wind and as long as I remember to close the bail I can avoid those power pro wind knot moments that can rear their ugly head. I think I get better sensitivity and action out of my lures too - but then again that's just me thinking and my way of thinking is proven to be dangerous.
