Wish I saw this earlier! So how was it?
"whose that little motherf***er with the fly rod"
Re: Lake Manatee 12/24
SLOW
I threw small poppers, spiders, large hairbugs, poppers with dropper flys, and the fabled Myakka Minnow and only bagged one little bluegill.
The hits I recieved were just little kisses. And those were few and far between.
I have been a little busy, but I was going to post a question about fishing and fog. The water was super still, and the fog rolled in. By the time I left the water around 10am, visability was anly a couple hundred yards.
Thinking back, I cannot remember catching much when fishing in dense fog. I don't know if it is the air pressure turning them off or what. But, when fishing freshwater, you can norlmally hear hits and see vegatation move. I saw none of this. It was dead out.
I may try again Monday morning.
What say you guys on fog and fishing?
