I agree the Deet is nasty stuff I use something that has sunscreen and insect repellant in it, but it seems no matter what I use the bugs just love me. I think it is best to just wear pants and long sleeves with a hat. Also if it is a little windy that helps.

I enjoy fishing from there also. If the gate is not open when you get there you can launch from the South side of the road before the gate. Also you may want to try Green Key not to far from that place and it has some good fishing also. Glad to see that there are more people interested in the northe...
