Re: Home Brew
The founder of the club has a brew called OMG usually about 22%. He hits it 2x daily with O2 to keep the yeast from stressing. Definately not a session beer.

commander 140 rudder
Does anyone know of a way to rig a rudder with a hand control instead of foot control? I have a commander 140, and stand and drift most of the time so foot controls are not going to be very helpful.

I have a commander 140, and stand most of the time. I leave the seat folded and tucked under the captains perch. I sit on that while paddling.

Re: New fee for Ft Desoto and Howard Park
I doubt that the money will stay with those parks in particular. I buy an annual pass to Honeymoon Island, and although it is probably one of the highest in annual sales, all the proceeds are thrown into a big bucket and divided amongst all the state parks.

Re: Sabile Knot -Braid to Leader - Anyone Using It?
I guess it might depend on where you fish. The sebile knot looks like it would pick up grass. I use an albright fo line to leader, and a "canoe man" loop at the hook. I make about 20 turns if using braid, and exit twice before cinching down on the albright.

I caught quite a few big fish a couple of years ago out there that had a milky white side, and appeared to be blind in one eye. I see a lot of lazy careless b$%^#@rds out there dragging them up through the dry sand(removing slime coat) to remove the hook and wait around for a camera to snap a pic. I...
