Do it!
I could get into this long discussion about how they compare to other reels, but the bottom line is for $80 your getting a reel that has allot of good features without breaking the bank.

I use the one with the strap as well. I went with them because of all the attachments available for the bases. I have many different rods, from high dollar to yard sale. I can’t say that I have a favorite, for me it’s not really the name on the rod it’s the action of it. Way to go Gary, you have got to love those topwater strikes. As far as your pin fish set up I would suggest loosing the weight and go to a larger hook like a 3/0 or 4/0 hook. You cannot keep everything in your kayak but you can retrieve what does fall out. Attach a piece of pool noodle with a short leash to any thing you do not want to loose.
