I believe he does have 2 clips holding it on. Check out the first picture.

One in front of the DOA sticker and one right behind "Heritage"

I am glad you found some fish yesterday. I went to Ozello with my dad for the first time on Friday and didn't catch a thing. We got a few hits early and saw 2 reds the whole time we were out there. Like you said, the wind was terrible. What kind of lures were you using? I tried a couple different th...

I question the integrity of this story. There are no redfish in this location! I should know... I was not out there Saturday not catching redfish that were not out there. So, you see, Chad could not have caught 2 reds because they are not out there. CNF is right... There are really Not any ...

Loop knot

Thanks for the suggestion... would you happen to have a link that shows how to tie a good loop knot?
Now that you mention it, I think the guy at the tackle shop told me to use a loop knot... now I know for next time.

One rod, One lure, One cast... Two fish.

So, I was out at Picnic Island again this morning for a couple of hours. It was very shallow and I was having a hard time finding where I wanted to fish. Finally the tide started coming in and the water came alive; mullet, birds, bait fish all over. I decided I was going to try out my new MirrOdine....

I was using the lure I grew up using: The Got Cha 4 inch grub, white body w/ a pink curly tail on a white or red jig head:

Be careful of the addiction though. As I've found, it can lead to troubles elsewhere!

Understood.

Redfish and Trout 12-1

Well, I was finally able to take my kayak out on the salt water for the first time on Sat (11-24). I went to Picnic Island since it is about 5 minutes from my house for a couple hours in the morning. I caught a 18'-19' redfish and was pretty pumped to catch one on my first try. This past Saturday (1...
