krash, Lots of prep work and I used a 4 inch roller. Initially there were small bubbles (from the roller sponge) but as long as they are small, they all smooth out as the paint dries. Tide1on - LOL.. If I was doing this in the living room I WOULD be living outside... Thats for sure... LOL Fishindad

Thanks! I got the paint at Majoney's. Its EASYPOXY Pettit Marine paint, Jade Green.

Still a bit more work to do. The were sanded and stained today so, possibly tomorrow I will replace the wicker.

I can't wait to get this thing on the water.

Wenonah ECO restoration Project

I decided it was time to get into the Paddle world with my kids. I have a Gheenoe BUT that was simply too big to load on the camper etc. With the help of a friend I ended up with a 1982 Wenonah ECO 16 foot canoe. The first time my wife and I saw it we just had to have it. It reminded us of the canoe...

Guys, Don't worry about it. Brian was with me. We did not take it negatively at all. We had a great time out there and ABSOLUTELY want to do the right thing. It got pretty dicey with those bigger fish. I am sure we will be telling folks the same thing now that we have the hang of it. Again.. No worr...
