At what point does the desire to get back on the water overcome one's reluctance to learn to cast with the non-dominant arm? Not long at all. I've tried the non-dominant arm thing, however I'm nowhere near coordinated enough to pull it off. I've given my arm rest at two week intervals to no avail. ...

.....is a problem that I am currently dealing with and I thought I would share with you. It can be prevented however the treatment is one that is very hard for me to adhere to. Rest. We make thousands of casts along with miles of paddling some days, if not properly prevented, this painful condition ...

I think the idea behind this type of launch is to stay dry. It helps, a little if thats what you're looking for..I agree with Heywood..It would have been cheaper and efficient to lay some rock and sand down. Just give me a hole in the mangroves, thats all ya need...

I used to, but I've discovered the canoeman knot is much stronger and ties quickly.

I have a question to all you rod builders after seeing this rod. Is there a set location on a rod blank that a reel must be seated at? So many rods have long butt sections and I am forever on the hunt for less of the rod behind the reel. Seems like if you have a 7' blank and the reel is set 18"...

1st Custom rod.

I picked up my first custom rod from Bill Hobbs the other day and I'm not sure I will be able to go back to store bought rods ever again. I broke it in very nicely with a red and a few trout on top-water at CRB. 7' Lamiglas Med Power/Fast Action split grip paired up with a Team Daiwa Advantage 2500....

It's a good thing the two videos aren't related....Having a seal on your kayak would mean trouble if orcas are hungry..
