Re: "Like" us please
When I clicked "Liked" it changed to "UnLiked".... If it says "like" and you click on it, it registers as a "like" and changes to "unlike". If you on't click on "unlike" it means you "like" the site. I'm curious as to what differ...

Has anyone been fishing around Gulfport, especially Clam Bayou? They did lots of work on the bayou like making retention ponds and dredging. I woder what, if anything, it has done for fishing.

My Best Gift!
After an automobile accident last year, my doctor said I had to quit paddling. A few weeks ago, a new doctor said (in a polite way) that the other guy was full of it and the exercise would be good for me if I didn't overdo it. By now I had sold my canoes, so I hit the piggy bank and bought another H...

New to me
I just heard and maybe it's old news to most of you, that the new kayak launch at Cross Bayou is now open. Plenty of parking, easy launch, picnic tables and all is free.
The address is 6951 102nd Ave. N., St. Pete.

Re: SUP question...

I use a Pentax Optio which I bought at a list member's suggestion. So far I've had a few years of trouble free use.

Re: Open Carry
Many of the same states that permit concealed carry prohibit open carry. I'd be guided by the law which you should check fairly often as they do tend to change.

Re: Anyone heard anything about the Nu-Canoe Frontier?
You can always add outriggers. They make most kayaks ultra stable and don't affect paddling very much.
