With you, the batt. and motor in back, what kind of bow rise do you expect when fishing alone? Not talking about acceleration but just sitting still.

2 reasons for mono-backing. First was said above, better grip on the spool. 2nd, I fill my spools with 1/3rd to 1/2 with mono, "just to save money". I put the mono on tight and I lighten up a little when I add the braid. My .02 cents :scratch:

Great boot, no 2 ways about it BUT, toooooooo much money........Good flats boot at BPro for 29.95. Zips up the side and stays on in the much, deep muck. :cheers:

uni knot

U "MUST"double the braided line and use six wrap for each side and then I personaly put a half hitch on top of the know.

Seat and rowing system

The seat looks comfortable, where did you get that please. The rowing system, where did you purchase that or did you make it yourself. Frankly it looks easy to make. It looks as though all is stationary and only the or locks move with the oars. If that is correct. really don't look like rocket scien...

Rowing canoe

I have a 14' Mohawk, (manufactured in Orlando), 5 years old that i haven't used yet. Why? The canoe is in Tampa Bay and I am in Cody Wyoming.
