I just picked up a Malibu Extreme last weekend. Decided to keep my Heritage Redfish 14' as a back up. Heading out next week for a 5 day Everglades trip with the Extreme!

I have a Heritage 14' and sitting side saddle and even standing to pole or get a better view in the water - You are correct deeper hulls help with a wider base.
