A Question. I read somewhere that freezing fillets in milk is the way to go along with the Food Saver. Is the salt solution better?

Rik, was the one you had on the Hydrostatic or the other type? I thought the recharge kits were more expensive. The thought of the replacement cost caused me to hesitate, and subsequently required a replacement dagger board instead, ninety dollars plus shipping.

I did not drill a hole. I used one of the adjustment holes on the starboard peddle and tied a short length of line, long enough to lift the drive out of the well, and attach the line to the starboard pad eye with a carabiner. I have the old cam style mount.
