Thinking about getting either the SA saltwater of redfish taper for my 7 weight TiCr. Which do you like better? Looking for something that will let me get a big popper out in the wind without flailing my arm off.

Sorry I should have specified I'm looking for a 4 piece.

Looking for a little more rod to throw poppers into the wind. Must be a 4 peice. Willing to throw in cash depending on the trade.

Nice work. I got out in BH in the afternoon and the wind was howling from the SW with not a red to be seen. Glad someone else got into em.

Just got one and love it. Had a more expensive Shimano Symmetry and can't tell them apart performance wise. Can't beat the price.

Just ordered a pair of gunmetal blackfin's with copper/silver mirror lenses from ebay. I'll let yall know how they work out.

Anyone have these? Looking for input as to how they compare to the green mirrors for shallow water sight fishing. Can't decide which to get.

Go to DB. FD is a great spot but you'll be able to get away from the north wind much better at the top of the bay. Damn wind.

Amen im planning on getting out no matter what. Thinking about hitting some residential canals that run perpendicular to the wind. That should be the ticket if things get too crazy out there.

ugghhhh. yeah thats what I thought. Well probly just head as far back into the creeks as possible and hope for the best. Maybe hit some canals at night if we cant get any during the day.

We should be able to get into some tailing fish Friday afternoon! The best advice I have is to be patient and really analyze the water as they can be easy to miss. Also really key in on oyster bars as the tide starts coming in.
