Re: Emotion Grand Slam

Thanks for the thorough review of this kayak. I wish I would have looked at emotions when I bought my kayak. I really appreciate you taking the time to give a user review, I know when I was buying my first boat I relied heavily on user reviews and rentals.

I've got one and I think it's a great reel for the money. I would most definitely buy another one.

Wow, six whole hours! I would have waited until morning out of pure embarrassment. It wasn't like they were out in the middle of the gulf or something.

Did anybody go out today in this wind?

Was wondering if anybody made it out today and if so how was it?

I am thinking of trying to get out tomorrow.

I definitely think you're right on that one. I just want to make sure I have someone with a little experience with me on that trip.

I just bought a new kayak and I am dying to get it out on the water this weekend. You guys are making me think twice. Maybe sunday will be better. It sounds like saturday is gonna be way too windy to have any fun out on the water. If anybody has any suggestions on a possible good location for saturd...

My wife is an optician and sells Costa's. It took her about about a year to convince me they were the best. After wearing my Costa Del Mar's I'll never wear another brand. With that said, for fishing you want to go with the amber 400 lens or the 580 lens in either green mirror which comes with amber...

Here are the politics of a Sheriff's Office or PD. The sqeaky wheel gets the oil. If you email or call in a complaint to the top dog........he sends it to a District Commander who must assign. If additional burglaries and complaints come in.......the District Commander gets a call to explain what i...

I checked out Picnic Island today to see how the conditions were. It was very windy and the flat between the park and Macdill was very low. Never the less I will probably try out some Kayak fishing out there this Saturday unless the wind is just too much. I've got a brand new yak and nothing short o...

New Kayak

So this afternoon I took the plunge. After testing/renting numerous kayaks I found that the Hobie boats were my favorite. My initial delusional thoughts saw me buying a brand new Revolution and peddling away happy. Then I looked into my wallet and thought what the hell are you thinking buying a $180...

I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to add to it in lieu of creating a new one. I had the pleasure of renting both the outback and revo this weekend from Tackle Shack. Me and the wife headed out saturday despite the strong winds, and since I am kind of a big guy 5'9 250 I figured i would ...
