It's been raining and pretty windy at my place (hour North of Tampa) since late last night. I've gotten about 6" or so.
I believe it's time for an automatic Bilge. I've had to run out and flip that thing on 3 times already today.

Hernando County Drumming
I had to use of some end of the year vacation days, so what better way to do so than chasing around some Hernando County Reds. My buddy PJ ran into some nice Reds before Christmas in an area that has been hit or miss for about the last year, so we set off about noon today to see if they were still a...

Breaking in the new combo
My buddy PJ and I hit up the Nature Coast to do a little fishing this morning. The tides looked average at best, but the weather and lack of wind this morning made our decision an easy one. I also wanted to test out the new rod I picked up yesterday to pair with my CI4. We hit the water about 7am to...

PowerPro Super 8 Slick
Has anyone tried it yet or know anyone who has? I have 300 yards of the 10lb Marine Blue coming early this week. I'm going to stick some on the new CI4 I picked up today.

Re: August 2011 - Paddle-Fishing.Com Super Kayak Slam
I've seen and caught more healthy Snook in Hernando and Citrus this year than in the last 5 years. Below is a little guy I caught a few days ago getting ready for the tourney! I have to do a little pre-fishing this week to help pull one out for the new crew. http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/af272...

Re: Scalloping
Cindy- You could do it, but you would need to do some paddling. If you put in at Bayport, you could paddle about 2.5 miles dead west and it would put you on decent grounds. You could also put in at Pine Island beach and paddle about the same distance west and it will put you in a good spot. Or, find...
