Re: What's up?
Wuluf, No fish is safe. Personally i'd get a kick out of a carp fishing report. Used to fish for them in the UK. with there was the option to do so here. Its a far cry from kayak fishing but I enjoy the technicality of it. It is definitely about coming up with the best rig, best presentaqtion, and p...

Re: Primitive "survivalist" camping location advice needed
Is there a season on squirrel etc? Would be using a slingshot to hunt. Or attempting to get fish maybe with a handline? This is all the stuff I need to decide. I want to keep it as minimal as possible but at the same time don't think ill get away with spearing fish. Haha I guess it would be prudent ...

Primitive "survivalist" camping location advice needed
My friend and I have been talking for a while about doing a 2 or 3 day "survival scenario" type of camping trip, but not hardcore to thew= point of being unsafe. I do plan to take a cell phone, just in case, water purification pills, a pellet rifle or slingshot (undecided), and a knife. Ha...

Is this the Clam Bar?
I thought I had it figured out, but then I saw a post from somebody else who was fishing there, and it seems further away from the skyway than I originally expected. Confirmation or clearer info greatly appreciated! Also would Shark fishing there during the day be as productive as at night? Thanks a...

Re: Going to Sanibel!!
Lighthouse beach is a popular spot for poon, but also for tourists. When the pier there was closed after hurricane charlie the fishing was phenomenal. (dont ask questions) caught multiple 38+ reds and many screaming runs in the shark rod

Re: Going to Sanibel!!
Blind pass is between sanibel and captiva. There is a jetty of rocks off the beach.drift live bait past those rocks with a moving tide for snook etc. Big big goliath grouper can be had off the rocks also if your bait is big enough. My buddy pulled in a 400 pounder on 1/2 a spanish mack. Shark off th...
