Snook sauteed in garlic butter with a light dusting of Cajun seasoning. Yellow rice on the side with tomato gravy and hoe-cake cornbread. Sheeeeeit. I keep very few of the fish I catch, especially Snook. Mostly kept are Reds, and various 'eating' variety fish....Whiting, Flounder, Silver Trou...

Hey Bill! Glad to see you on P-F! Met-up with the fellow former 'redleg' you PM'd at the tourney yesterday. Told him I knew you, and that you were an OK guy. Glad to fish with you anytime. Lee.

My Ocean Kayak Drifter is a light blue and white swirl called 'Sky', also sometimes referred to as 'Sky Camo'. From the water, it blends-in with the sky, supposedly. I usually don't fish right next to my yak, but have had sizeable fish swim right by without freaking-out too much. The main reason I g...

A Van Stall VS-100 is still on my wish-list. They ARE a reel worth the 'full ante'. I hope they start making them again soon... Lee.

I'd second ( or third...) the recommendation on the Daiwa Team Advantage reels. I have a 2500-size, and it's an awesome reel. I mainly use Older Shimano's on the flats/open...I have two Stradic 2000's and a Stradic 4000, and a Symmetre 4000, and they are great reels. The newer 2500's??? I'll pass. I...

I put down 4, but I bring 3 to 6, plus a flyrod from the canoe. Now that I just have the 'Yak, it's currently 2 or 3 plus a flyrod. Once I build the Dirty Dave super-ultra-mega rocket launcher setup for the two rear flushmounts, I'll have a 6 rod+ capacity. One rigged with a topwater always, one wit...

10 lb. on a couple of ultralights and fished like 4/6 lb....10 lb. on a couple of Stradic 2000's for Trout/flats, and for throwing unweighted jerkbaits and very light jigs, or a topwater into the next County.....20 lb. on a couple of Stradic 2000's and everything 4000-size for general purpose fishin...

Both work Ray. I think RBL's take on water color has a lot of merit, with gold in stained/dark water, silver in clear water. The ( UN-blanked ) Big Fish Tackle Co. Huddle-spoon is a great spoon, gold weedless with a bucktail trailer. Made locally by skilled artesians of fine hand-made lures( ...
