Re: Measuring board

Make sure you get the "Right Kind" of stick-on measuring tape. Rik gave me a tough time last Saturday over my invisible "Florida Stick" tape. He gave me a Florida Pro-Guide which has black lettering and numbers which show up much better in you pictures. Also I found that the Gori...

Re: Wright & McGill S Curve Rods.

Have a 7 ft which I like it for the weight balance. With the right reel it balances out very well and makes a day of chucking DOAs a lot easier on the arm.

Didn't buy the hype that the blue color provides camouflage against a blue sky. A nice rod overall

Launch Points for Perico

Now without giving away any of your secret fishing holes, perhaps for those of us who live up north and have not fished this area you might tell us some launch sites. The assistance would be appreciated and to individual (first one) who gives me the winning launch site and I do happen to continue my...

Re: Theft of Fishing Gear!

Sorry for your loss. That can make a bad start of a day fishing. :( In regards to the camera. I just started using a Pentax Optio (after soaking my Canon unwaterproof camara) which has similar specifications to the Olympus you just lost. It shoots HD video and is a nice little rugged camera. Has som...

PFTS measuring device

New to the PFTS

Does the PFTS entrant provide their own measuring device, or is it provided by the tournament?

Where are the devices that appeared to be used by most of the entrants found? (Boards with ends and back panel)

Thanks

Excellent photos. What type of camera were you using to get those shot?

Thanks for your insight about the two Hobies. I am about to do the same for Xmas and my Birthday (best way to get what you want). :) Decided on the Outback as having the storage and comfort I think will make it worth it.

New to kayak fishing, so everyones input has made the decission easier.
