ALWAYS use leader... Fluoro. Invisible. 30# for inshore... 65# for near shore Kings and Tarpon.

15# PP with Albright Special knot. ...it never fails.

No floating dock... THey are hot, hard on knees and difficult for older folks, like me, to get out of kayak or into. No circular driveways Take up too much space and limit launches... Why would you want to paint it???
A Sign painter said YES he has painted them with toothy paints. Just clean the surface with acetone or alcohol to remove slime.. then paint.

The answer is YES>> It must be visible to reach it. If using a Type 5 Inflatable, It must be Worn on your body.
PCSO officer told me if he cannot see it in binoculars, you are subject to being stopped. It's for YOUR SAFETY...

I use the Albright for pp to Fluoro. I tried the Slim Beauty and found it difficult when bouncing around on the waves, and at night. Uni-uni is also hard to tie under same conditions. :bounce:
