Also with the canoe with its higher freeboard, longer double paddles are required, I use a 250cm, I put the Native watercraft seat on top of the standard 3" foam Hornbeck seat, which made paddling easier without taking too much from stability.

Five years and mine are all still going strong, that isn't the latest version, but a lot of reel for the money, I'm sure Todd and Bill will jump all over it :twisted:

If I were to buy a kayak it would be a Ultimate 14.5 still the best design in my opinion when all is considered

I wonder how long it is ? Best setup I have seen yet, wont work on my canoe, unless I put a thru hull in it with maybe a short tube and flange.

I always thought the idea made sense, quick deployment and retrieval while your fighting the fish if needed, it has made the difference for me on several occasions. The Stinger system is cheaper, lighter, and no batteries required, I'm limited to 4 feet of water, but don't seem to catch many fish be...

I bought the first ones offered to the market and had them installed on my custom rods, they made a noticeable difference is smoothness and distance.
