I stopped by the HOW booth at the Florida Sportsman show and talked at length with a USF Navy ROTC cadet about the program. Seems like a great organization. Is this the same group as yours or a different group?

Too close. I was behind a tree but he still passed within about 10 feet of me . There were a lot of other people around but they had the good sense to get well back from him. He just ambled by pretty much ignoring everyone.

The trails he's talking about are the green paddling trails you paddle through. Unless it is low tide, you won't have to drag the kayak. A lot of it is through mangrove tunnels and are very scenic. Anything short of a dry fly is marginal anyway. If you are going to fish streamers in salt, you might as well add a spoonfly too.
