Re: VHF Handhelds
I'll be purchasing my first handheld within the next couple of weeks. Been looking around and came across the Cobra HH500. Really like the bluetooth feature so i can answer calls without taking my phone out of the dry box. Anybody have experience with this radio?

Another East coast fatality
Scary stuff. Infected and died in just under 3 days. Supposedly people with compromised immune systems are at greatest risk.

Sam Root of Saltyshores might be the local authority on Bahamas bonefishing. He's likely traveling back from Salty Fly 2013 today.

Re: Which braid to use?
I just put the Ohero Adrena braid on my CI4s a few weeks ago. So far I'm not a fan. The line seems to twist more than the PP8, it doesn't cast as far, and often wraps itself around the top guide of my rod. I also just put fins windtamer on another reel and prefer that to the Ohero. I'm going to give...

Re: Atlas V Launch Photos 7/19
very cool. I got to see a shuttle night launch about 15 years ago from a park across the river. I will never forget the eerie sort of daylight the rockets made. It was surreal.

I keep two or three fish a year and only if I'm going to eat them that day. I like the catching a whole lot more than the eating!
