Tropical Storm now and perhaps reacing hurricane statue before reaching land, looks like somewhere N. of Tampa area... but looks like lots of rain coming that way and a storm surge.. double down on the spring lines and if in a low lying area near the coast move yer stuff to higher ground.

Wet weather... 99L
Well the weather predictors ahve been doing their best to panic the public into preparing for the super storm of the century. The gas mongers have raised the price of gas by 20 cents a gallon, and the big box stores are selling lots of water and batteries.
But so far its still just a rain storm ...

If it was not for the dog... Cordel Baum the "BoneFishWhisperer" has a small fully functional efficiency style cottage, with fly tying vise, he rents out to clients and/or others even if not hiring him to fish... but his dog tippet is not compatible with other animals and most people.

Re: PF is back...
I have not been fishing for P's lately, but them what do have been doing well from what I can see or have heard. In my specific area, C11 canal along Griffin/Orange drive it seems to me the Peacock population has dwindled, but the Snook and Tarpon have thrived. Not sure what the reasons are, except ...

SUP Fishing, Bonefish
Went out yesterday, weather was not the best, tides were backwards, but I wanted to take the paddle-board out and test a new fin, and see how it pole'd.
Thought I'd make a post to liven up this place and SUP fishing.
Took the Voyager out today, got up checked the radar, wind finder, and local ...

Take one of MudHoles classes.. I did and found it very interesting. They provide all the parts and materials to build a 6'6" spinning rod over a 1.5 day timeline. If you are interested its a good start to the hobby.
