The guys have PVC poles that have been very sturdy and held up well. They are 1/2" heavy duty PVC. The 1/2 PVC would not fit in the Prowler 13's scupper holes so I have one that is made out of 1/2" conduit with an elbow on the top for a handle. It works GREAT but don't know yet how it will...

Um... SEVERAL people have a manual "power pole" on their yaks. We made ours out of PVC. Cut a piece as long as you want it put a T-handle on top and don't plug the ends. They work GREAT!!! I have an anchor trolley on my yak and just throw the anchor over and clip it to a caribiner. I just ...

I use 10# Power Pro on my stradic 2500 and my okuma av20. When I first started using it, I had problems with knots but I don't seem to have any problems with it at all now. I will just add that some reels will cause knots in the power as they're just not designed for braids so if you're having a LOT...
