Lagoon Fish
Anyone heard anything lately on the safety of consuming Indian & Banana Rivers, and Mos. Lagoon fish?? Been a few articles in the paper lately about the muck and the heavy metals found in the muck in 10% of the river. I LOVE my redfish but am getting once again concerned about taking one home to...

FantastiK Weekend
Haven't been out in awhile because of all the wind...seemed the only time the wind died was on work days!!!! Great weekend for fishing. Had to launch on the western side to avoid the east 10 mph wind all weekend but it was worth it. Total.....6 slot size reds and one black drum. Good to be on the ri...

Yes, the Gheenoe is a fantastic boat. I had one for years when my kids were small and I taught them how to bass fish. I was strictly into fresh water fly fishing. Loved it. I would recommend it to anyone. In fact it's over 15 years old now and a good friend of ours, who bought it from us, down in Me...

I have been seriously visiting boat dealers for about a year and asking boat owners for recommendations on a good flats boat. I've been to Renagade, Mitzi, Carolina Skiff, Ranger, Hewes, Sterling, Gordon several times. IMO, Ranger and Sterling are absolutely rediculous in their pricing. Nice boats n...

Thanks guys....I found that one thread....I haven't been on in a while so I wasn't aware of the postings..thanks... love using the hard jerk baits and when the reds hit it, it's just exciting to watch. But when the grass is up, as you well know, you just spend most of your time cleaning off about 5 ...

Jerk Bait Hooks
Love fishing with hard jerk baits. Hate the treble hooks...and all the damn grass they bring in from the lagoon.....
has anyone tried successfully removing the trebles and replacing them with single, weedless hooks?? Does this effect their action?

No Motor Zone NMZ
Fished the NMZ Sunday...what a gorgeous day! Launched from Kars Park...its now open to the pubic for $5.00, certainly worth the $$$. However...kayakers beware....there's about 10' of black muck along the shoreline that's about knee deep....SOOOOO they, thoughtfully, dropped two telephone poles, clos...
