Re: poll 20# or 30# leader for snook
I always use 30 flouro on my inshore snook rods. I step up to 40 in the passes. 20 is way too light unless you are catching poosie snook or don't mind losing expensive top waters and plugs.

Re: Bass Pro Shops moving to Tampa...
It will be nice to have my sponsor closer to home. I'm tired to driving to Orlando to pick up the patches for my fishing shirts. I will always buy my tackle at Dogfish. I bought my first rod and reel at their original location 25 years ago. They always take care of me. I will continue to buy guns, k...

The 3000 is a smaller body so you should have no problem fitting that and two lenses into a 1400. I can fit my Nikon D40 with three lenses including a zoom and large wide angle. In addition, there is room for a point and shoot plus spare batteries, filters, remotes, etc. I keep a pack of desiccant b...

Re: Some recent reports from the Everglades.
I liked Crooked Creek enough but it is no Sunday Bay. It is pretty close to some choice backcountry fishing spots which is convenient. I had a couple really large pleasure boats cruise through the creek while I was there which I didn't enjoy. The view from Sunday Bay was outstanding plus I saw a saw...
