Start here...http://www.mudhole.com/Rod-Building-101 and since you're in Largo, Betts fishing center carries building supplies. They use to have classes but call and check.

They have a rodbuilders club where you get like 20% off if you belong. I think you also get like 10% off tackle purchases in the store too.
That would pay for itself right away if you joined that program

I watched all Kevin Brotz videos and am still in the dark. How much would it be to get all the supplies i am going to need. and would any one be willing to so me how to do it in person would help alot thanks
