I really like this one Gary...not only does it have great composition and color but the thing that captured my eye was all that is happening in one frame at the same time...seagull flying, heron fishing, angler wading, cars going by...it's greatJ.P. Thank you Peter. I remember when taking the photo, I wanted to capture the egret in mid-stride. I was aware of a seagull about to fly into the scene and waited for his entry into the scene. It also turned out well that the fisherman just completed his cast, with his rod pointed forward, giving a little more 'action' to the scene. I had this photo on a photography forum that I used to submit to a couple of years ago and some of the varied comments are interesting. http://myfourthirds.com/document.php?id=6543 That website, MyFourThirds, although geared for those that use the 4/3 format camera, is a great site to learn about 'what makes a good photograph'. It's a place to submit your photos and have them critiqued by others that have a passion for photography. It's an interesting site to browse.Mako wrote:I really like this one Gary...
Victor, I really like this one. The warm glow on the horizon complements the colors of the boom, sail, and forespar of the boat. I like the way you framed the other boat, within the rigging. Well done.GO-Fish wrote:Down in Key West a few Years ago
