Met Kevin today for some bird photography.
He left before "lunch" for this Great Blue.

that snake fought all the way down the birds throat. You could actually see it curled in the neck. I am sure it was dead but nerves kept muscles working. By that time the bird had moved and was behind some bushes so it was hard to get a pic.

I mainly use ImageShack since Photobucket did it's thing. There's also Tinypic.

Rick, how about posting some info on that shot. IE; F stop, lens used, etc.

Canon 40D with canon 100-400mm L IS lens ( shot at 400mm), Bogen tripod

first pic shot at : ISO 200, f 7.1, @ 1/640 sec, Raw (14.71 meg file)
second: ISO 200, f 8, @ 1/500 sec, RAW

If I tell ya more U will have to die ..

both were cropped from original like this
