Met Kevin today for some bird photography.
He left before "lunch" for this Great Blue.
(photobucket changed format and is so full of ads that it is a pain in the a**-- what is a better choice?)

that snake fought all the way down the birds throat. You could actually see it curled in the neck. I am sure it was dead but nerves kept muscles working. By that time the bird had moved and was behind some bushes so it was hard to get a pic.

second: ISO 200, f 8, @ 1/500 sec, RAW
