It is a very good knot that, as some have said, is guide friendly. It just can't be tied while blindfolded like the uni to uni

I use the Albright for pp to Fluoro. I tried the Slim Beauty and found it difficult when bouncing around on the waves, and at night. Uni-uni is also hard to tie under same conditions. :bounce:

I see a challenge brewing. Uni uni vs. surgeon surgeon. some half assed engineer figure out the specifics.

I use a swivel. Just joking.....I dont even know what I tie something someone taught me ten years ago and I have never had it fail using mono leader to braided line. Think it is a Uni to Uni....but those others just look too complicated for me.

Uni - Uni here. I also double the braid with a Bimini. I reel it thru the guides on every cast - never had it fail.

I'm using 15lb Flouro leader to 10lb SpiderWire XXX co-polymer with the Uni. I'm not a great lover of Braid, but that's a whole different thread right thar! :-B

Who really cares what you tie, as long as it works.

Triple Surgeons Knot. Quick and effective. Otherwise it's Uni/Uni.

I've been wanting to try the Slim Beauty but it sure looks confusing. Perhaps if I saw someone do it it might make it easier to remember.
