Miguel Bay

Post by jwheelz »

Friday morning a buddy and I went to fish Miguel Bay. With the wind still a little strong out of the east we let the wind drift us over some grass flats with sandy spots mixed in. I was fishing a DOA C.A.L. shad in rootbeer with chartrues tail on a 1/4 oz. red jig head and caught a 24" red fish along with an 18" trout. As I was sight fishing for the reds I noticed that most of them were laying in the sandy spots. My buddy caught 2 keeper trout and released quite a few small ones.

I hope you ate that fish Jason. You need a good meal!
