I dont see enough evidence that you caught the fish there mark. It is a great looking fish but we need pictures of you reeling in the fish as well as you pulling the fish out of the water.

I think that fish jumped in the boat and woke Mark up.

The full story-

As we all know Mark aka "Saltwater Cowboy" has been kayak fishing for many years, I think he started in a dugout canoe, still not sure on that. As we were gathered for the Jax kayak fishing classic the topic of Mark and catching fish came up. It was unanimnous around the table that none of us were sure if we had ever seen Mark actually catch a legal gamefish. Now he does some things extremely well, no one can kayak nap as well as the "cowboy" but I digress in the story here. As we discussed how one can kayak fish since before electricity and never catch a legal gamefish I decided to up the ante and offer anyone $20 if they could provide photographic proof, they have to take the picture, of the "cowboy with a legal gamefish.

By all appearances it seems I owe someone $20, still not sure who as the person who photoshopped this picture still has not surfaced to lay claim to the $20. That is suspect. I have retained legal counsel, bassboy, and he has brought in his private investigator, Heywood, so we can get to the bottom of this so called fish story.

More news to follow.

IMO, an open and shut case. The photo evidence speaks for its self.

Let’s start with the kayak, all up in the weeds like that, so he can’t float away while asleep. And look at the disarray, How many coolers do you need? The one in the back looks like it could fall overboard at any second. Then there’s the hat, obviously he just woke up, it’s all crooked and everything.

Then there’s his mug. I mean look at it. This guy just woke up, no doubt.

Conspiracy Todd, watch your back.

I have to question the cooler. It's just like the infamous blue cooler although in diversion red. Did anyone check the cooler before he launched?

Very suspect that whoever photoshopped this pic has not said a word. Only the "cowboy" has spoken up and it is quite obvious he did not take the picture as you cannot get out for a self portrait in Jax. Suspicion is swirling like a bad oil spill.

Also-does anyone see a fishing rod anywhere in the picture?

The investigation continues. More at 11.

Your questions of legitimacy are irrelevant. This photo clearly depicts not only a legal trout, but constitutes a red/trout/flounder slam, and may count towards a tarpon release as well. If you want proof check the tournament write-up in the May 3rd edition of the Upper East Palatka Gazette. :drunken:
