Well ok, a couple more mods.
A little work space.

And a swinging tool rack. (You can really get in trouble with a welder)

Now I gotta get out and get some fish to put in it!

Looks good.

I am curious about the new chimney, what was the reasoning behind putting it on the same side as the fire box? Do the little chimneys still work?

Must have made it a reverse flow... Very nice if so!

Just above the opening from the fire box to the drum there is a steel plate (baffle) that closes off the fire box end and sides down to about 3 inches from the other end. The "chimney then has a tube that runs down to the cooking surface forcing the smoke to circulate back to the bottom of the fire box end to exit. ...It evens out the smoke and heat. yes reverse flow was the idea.
The baffle installed. It is not attached, it sits on top of a bar and rests on the barrel on either side. Easy to remove for transport and cleaning.

The grilles in. Also shows the gap at the end for the smoke to pass through.

X2.
So even though you're cooking low and slow there are no hot spots. Along with 3 temp gauges. Very cool.

Pag_Yaker has something for you that makes 1 thing into 2 and you make 2 things into 1.

I was impressed, that the older I got, the more patient I became. Turns out, I just don't give a shit.
