Renting a Hobie or Native

Post by fishindad »

My wife asked the other day if we could rent foot powered kayaks around here. I honestly do not know. I have seen standard paddle powered ones but I don't want to let the opportunity pass by. Is there a place around here to rent Hobies or Natives?

Thanks in advance for any info!!

Tackle Shack is the local hobie place, I would try calling them and see what they have as far as rentals.

Natives are sold at Bill Jacksons, would do the same there.

Not sure where you're located but if you are down south, Economy Tackle in Sarasota has them
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

Thanks folks! I am in the Brandon area. Small word. I bought my 2nd windsurfer at Bill Jacksons. I will give them a call!

If you rent/demo from Tackle Shack they will apply that rental toward the boat you buy. My wife and I demo'd a Revolution and an Outback, with regular and turbo fins. Picked 'em up on Friday after work - brought them back on Sunday morning. $100 ($50 x 2) well spent.
