Hi. My name is Barry and I live in Tampa and fish both sides of the bay. I recently bought a used first-year Hobie Mirage yak which I turned into a fishing yak by mounting a Scotty rod holder on it! :D
I've wade fished the area for many years so fishing from the Hobie is still a new experience for me. My first instinct is still to use the kayak to get to flats that I can wade. I reckon that will change over time.
Hopefully, this forum can help me find new places to fish and new friends to fish with!! I'm retired so I tend to have lots of time.

Welcome. I also live in Tampa and fish all over the bay when I can get out.

Welcome Barry....I am retired as well and like to get out during the week....let me know if you would like to fish during the week.....
