Make sure you get the "Right Kind" of stick-on measuring tape. Rik gave me a tough time last Saturday over my invisible "Florida Stick" tape. He gave me a Florida Pro-Guide which has black lettering and numbers which show up much better in you pictures.
Also I found that the Gorilla Glue that dries white did a super job binding the vinyl and wood components
All you need is ignorance and confidence and the success is sure.
