Has anyone launched at Pop Stansell Park lately? Launched there twice in the past week to fish the flats outside the inlet. Both times I watched boaters with big ass boats launch there and actually back the tow vehicle to where the entire back of the vehicle is in the salt water. I heard one of the drivers say he was sick of paying the launch fee at the regular ramps. Is this considered penny wise pound foolish!
I'm just sayin

I haven't launched there in probably 5 or 6 years, and guys with boats were doing the exact same thing then. I guess some things never change.

I launch there every once in a while mostly in the afternoons. Usually good entertainment there watching drunks try to back their trailers.

Saltwater is hell on brakes. $5 launch fee ain't nothing compared to rotors, brake drums, etc, etc. Seen a few launch there too. Idiots.
