My name is Dan and I am new to kayak fishing in Tampa. I moved here from California in August last year and I have gotten a chance to test the water a bit around Gandy and some in St. Pete. I would like to get into the Tarpon fishing off of the beaches if anyone is interested. I fish out of a Hobie Pro Angler and I'd like to test her sea legs a bit. I mostly fish the weekends, but occasionally get out mid week.
If anyone has any info on some good spots to try or hints on tactics I would be very appreciative.
