Kayaking near Caladesi Island using 4 inch finger mullet. I heard my son shout HOLY CRAP!! When I looked over his kayak had made a foaming wake and his power pro was rapidly heading for the gulf. The Tarpon jumped 2 times before breaking the 20lb test leader. Good times. Who would expect a Tarpon in 3' of water.
