This is a really neat rig....while it does incorporate a trolling motor, you could paddle it if you had to. Check out the video....I was impressed. The young man is local. Lives in Dunedin, but the boat is made in Lake Wales.

Hah! I had to go and look up Coracle. Those look really scary unstable ...like riding in an over-sized cereal bowl. This is flat on the bottom with a series of chines I assume so you won't spin like a top. Saw the video where the guy stood on the edge, so you have to know it's pretty stable. I was surprised to find out it weighs about 125lbs without motor or seat. You would of course have to buy your own seat configuration and bolt it on the base that comes with the boat, and of course the trolling motor and battery as well. Still not bad for around 1200.00

I bet you could paddle circles around.....yourself. Sorry I don't "get it", could buy a nice kayak for that. Then put a motor on it.... Might be great for tubing down a river????

I hope I get a chance to try it. There are a lot very neat things about the design. Unconventional? Absolutely! Inventive? Definitely!

I don't use the long rod but it is a great platform for it
