I sent info about the project to a guide friend of mine who works for the State in Manatee County. He was unaware of it & is going to check around.

I agree I don't feel one bit sorry for them others that held land that was deemed unbuildable is another story. I hope they lose their aces in this deal but, we will see. Some of that land is buildable but don’t get me wrong, the last thing I want to see is more condos or any development for that matter. Sadly it is bound to happen. And I can assure you any governor would be more than happy to collect the taxes from such development.

I disagree, sfurman. We've had Dem & Republican governor's who cared a great deal about Florida's environment and waters. Not this current dude, but hopefully the next and future ones.And I can assure you any governor would be more than happy to collect the taxes from such development.

Mitigation, that’s the word I was looking for earlier. This sounds like the carbon credit scam.
