Advice Needed

Post by blindcast »

I'm taking my new girlfriend out kayak-fishing this Saturday and I already know she's going to dig it and want to go again. However, in the past, kayak-fishing has always been a way to get away from my exwife, kiddies and other daily-grind BS.

Pros:
- I get it sit and look at her in her bikini
- I get to fish while looking at her in her bikini
- I get to teach her something that I really enjoy and we can enjoy it together

Cons:
- The next time I want to go alone... well, we all know what's going to happen.
- I may shut the door on the only time I have that I don't have to speak a word for 6hrs. (well maybe a curse here and there)

Post a pic of her in a bikini so that we can make a better evaluation.

If it's too close a vote to decide: I'll be a sport and I'll take her for you.

That would definitely get my "no" vote. Poor girl.

Blindcast - you have to decide just how much you value your time on the water alone and chose accordingly. [/quote]

there's your answer...if there's a chance you'll enjoy kayak fishing together, go for it. You won't want to go alone anymore :)

You shoot yourself in the foot when you take a girl fishing. Never destroy the fortress of solitude. You will never fish alone again, lest she leaves or gets the boot.

Fishing next to a girl in a bikini is a good thing. Fishing next to one that you deal with on a consistent basis is a bad idea. It's a tough choice to make. Some of us aren't in your shoes due to a relieable foresight. If it twere me, I'd say we'll paddle later when the sharks and the gators aren't as active.

Exactly my problem... I have Mako on one shoulder with his harp, halo and wings and then I have islander with his horns and pitchfork on the other shoulder...

Just because you take her WITH YOU, doesn't mean she has to
be directly underneath you.
Take her, show her the ins and outs, hang for awhile, then let her fish over there>>>.
She may want to explore while you fish.

Good looking lady in a 'yak, in a bikini, a rod in her hands.
Your gonna be too busy keeping the hounds at bay to do any fishing.
That's why I stopped fishing with Sammy and Norm.
Either females were hawking them down across my direction of cast or they were blowing the fish outta potholes slinkin' to the females....
I just couldn't take it any longer.
