Did you use hot sand for that bend?

Didnt need to use sand, I used 1/2" sch40 PVC(thick wall) and a 5gal bucket for the bend mold.... once you heat the pvc, it bends easy....

Now that’s clean. Looks great. Ditto on the bottom question.

The bottom is 3/8" thick Lexan from HomeDepot..... I haven't removed the protective sheet yet, because I was painting.... when removed its clear...

The mesh around the bottom half is plastic rain gutter guard screwed into the middle rung with s/s screws....
