I am interested in knowing your feelings when it comes to purchasing a new fishing reel. Several options are above. Any additional comments would also be appreciated. Thanks......

150 Feet?
A free rod would be great, but then I would feel bad, almost like stealing.
I like the idea of 150 yds of PP though.

If you are spending $100 + on a reel I would not want an inexpensive give away rod to match with it.
150 yards of PP would require spooling, is the reel coming to the consumer with line already spooled on the reel?
In the end I would probably want the 10% off and take care of the spooling myself, that way I know it is done correctly.
Just my thoughts.

I read that wrong also, 150 ft aint much. Give me the 10% off, I am somewhat picky about my spinning rods and don't want/need an in-expensive rod.

I think in todays internet based shopping world most people would pick 10% off the reel. Even though they are going to spend $13 on line anyway, it will seem like a better deal. Ink Jet printer prices afew years ago hung around $100 and came with ink half full. Now that same one is $50 without any ink. People think they are getting a 'deal.'

Give them their first spool of line. I know when I buy a reel, I usually buy a rod to go with it, and all thats lest is some line to get them going 8)

I'm always willing to pay retail, IF it comes with great advice & service. What am I going to do with 10 bucks
If I don't need any advice or service....then a cheaper price can be appealing

I'd choose the braid myself.

You would spool it. The braid would come in its manufacture package.

I'd take the line, seems to me like that would be more worth my while in the long run.
