Beautiful as always. I really like that thread too and the trim, double wraps?

Gramps, there's no underwrap for the wraps. The color are candle apple red with gold trim.

Eh poor wording, meant two turn trim. I just used that candy apple on a gloss black blank, very surprised at how bright it stayed with out CP.

I always prep the foot on my guides; makes a smoother transition and takes care of any chip & sharp edges when they stamp them.

Well, it wasn't the rod's fault that I got skunked on Saturday. Paied up with a Shimano SUstain, 10 lb Sufix briad, I can feel the lightest tap. Now I have to work on getting the tap!

Any time I want to admire your handiwork I'll go out to the garage and knock the dust off the magnificent rod you made me. Very soon this damn kitchen will be done and we'll fish again.[/code]
